The Rabbinic Development Foundation (RDF) was set up to support progressive rabbis in Europe, the Former Soviet Union and Israel. The type of support it offers ranges from mentoring and the provision of professional advice to rabbis serving isolated communities, to financial support in building progressive Jewish communities in the Former Soviet Union.

Set up by Rabbi Jeffrey Newman five years ago in response to growing demand from European rabbis, the RDF works alongside RIST (rabbinic in-service training, a Leo Baeck College initiative) to facilitate opportunities for rabbis to meet, share their experiences, learn and pray together. RDF Home
